When thinking "green", ceramic tile is an excellent choice for both floors and walls because it delivers high performance with low maintenance. In addition, many products are also "green" in their manufacture. Garden State tile offers a wide variety of eco-friendly products under our Eco Choice brand. Manufacturers of these products have taken steps to reduce the impact their production has on the environment. Products bearing the Eco Choice label have been qualified by our suppliers to meet some or all of these criteria:

• Manufacturing rejects and scrap are reused in production of tile
• Post consumer waste glass is used in production of tile
• Energy consumption is reduced in manufacturing and/or in overall plant operations
• Waste water from production is captured, purified and reused with no discharge of pollutants to the environment
• Emissions from firing ovens are minimized through the use of abatement systems
• Packaging materials are made of recycled products and are themselves reused or recycled.
